Hello

glad to see a new challenge topic!
I've got some questions:
- Is the use of an object mandatory?
- Can the futuristic station be somewhere else than in water, eg in a mountain or in space?

Thanks
See you

Hello from the SF bay area.
This is my first post here as a new member and I'm excited to participate in the "Futuristic Resort" Challenge.
It will be my first online challenge, so be gentle with me. (heh) Just kidding, you can rip me a new one,
I can handle it and am definitely here for some constructive/useful criticism! Looking forward to it.

Meanwhile...
I have the same question: The challenge mentions that the futuristic resort "can be created from uncommon and unusual objects"
Can be as in *must be* as a mandatory part of the challenge?? Or is this merely a creative suggestion that we not limit ourselves and be inventive?
I'm assuming it's the latter but hope you'll please clarify.

Thank you!

Thanks for the nice welcome, Kausta.

OK, yeah, I can definitely handle using my imagination. :ymblushing: Sorry, I just got caught up with semantics and was thinking
I might be disqualified for not following instructions correctly, which would kinda' suck on my first online challenge.

I'll post my concept & WIP soon. I'll be honored to hear feedback from you and the judges and other members...

Wish you guys did these challenges monthly though. (hint hint)

I organized the challenges in another forum, where it was held every month; but the timeframe needed to complete a Matte-Painting was too small in duration. Hence, bi-monthly. I appreciate your suggestions! Take care!

Thanks,
